About Us

ReedaNose 2 Tail Pet Care is a family owned business that offers multi award winning service. We are eco friendly and focused on using and promoting products that are all natural, safe for us, our pets and the environment, as well as being effective. We offer dog & cat grooming, a great selection of dog & cat products and an online store. We stock a wide range of natural products including Artemis, Earthborn Holistic, Vets All Natural and Raw dog and cat food, natural treats and eco friendly toys, bedding and accessories.

Nose 2 Tail Pet Care was established as a mobile business in 2003 by Reeda Close, because she loves animals and finds great joy when working with them. She also had a desire to help educate pet owners on the correct care of their furry best friends and provide high quality service to all her clients. Over the years this successful business has expanded to be able to cater to more people.

In 2007 we opened our first retail store and grooming salon in Oxley.

2008 saw the launch of our online store to further cater for our growing number of clients.

reedaIn 2009 we opened our second retail store and grooming salon at 180 Westlake Drive, Mt Ommaney.

In 2011, Reeda travelled to Greenville South Carolina to study Cat Grooming at the National Cat Grooming Institute of America. She returned as Australia’s FIRST Certified Feline Master Groomer. Due to the demand and popularity of our cat grooming services we opened Brisbane’s first cat exclusive grooming salon next door to our Mt Ommaney dog salon.

Wanting to focus on these stores and provide the best service possible we decided to close our Oxley store and our mobile service and maintain the one location at Mt Ommaney.

Over the years Nose 2 Tail has been nominated and won multiple awards which we are very proud of.

As a vet I see a number of conditions that can be identified, helped or prevented through proper professional grooming. Problems with matting, ears, eyes, skin and parasites are some of the conditions that we are presented with on a frequent basis and can often be improved through regular grooming.

Having both your dog and cat groomed regularly is important for their health and general well being. Short, medium and long-haired dogs and cats can all benefit both physically and mentally from being groomed regularly.
